The Swedish Artists Association (SKF) was founded in 1890 and is Sweden's oldest and largest artist-run platform to date for exhibitions and cultural projects. In 2020, Alida Ivanov took over as artistic director and Ashik Zaman as curator for the exhibition and program activities at SKF/Konstnärshuset. Exhibitons are presented in three galleries/venues: Stora Galleriet, Övre Galleriet and at Konstnärsbaren.

SKF/Konstnärshuset is opening two exhibitions on Thursday May 16. The intergenerational group exhibition in Stora Galleriet joins lens-based artsits Ekaterina Lukoshkova and Trinidad Carrillo and artist Barbro Hedström who presents sculpture, curated by Alida Ivanov and Ashik Zaman. The solo exhibition in Övre Galleriet presents artist Ingvild Hovland Kaldal. On Saturday 18 May, a book release event will take place for Trinidad Carrillo's new book "Oneiromance".
