The Princess Estelle Cultural Foundation (PREKS) was founded in 2019 at the initiative of the Crown Princess Couple with the mission to promote cultural activities in Sweden. There is a long-standing royal tradition in Sweden to support culture and a conviction that art and cultural activities are essential to an open, modern society. PREKS is currently developing the Princess Estelle Sculpture Park on Royal Djurgården, a world-class sculpture park with site-specific commissions by renowned international artists. In collaboration with other leading museums and institutions, PREKS offers educational programmes to make contemporary art accessible.

This May, PREKS is proud to present Giuseppe Penone as its artist of the year 2024. Penone has created a site-specific commission for the Princess Estelle Sculpture Park on Royal Djurgården titled 'The Inner Flow of Life'. The work is the fifth permanent artwork in its collection and will be inaugurated on 30 May at 1 pm by HRH Prince Daniel.

PREKS invites journalists to a press preview of Giuseppe Penone's new work and a presentation of the foundation's programme of activities on 15 May 12-1 pm.

Please note. Only by invitation. RSVP: press@preks.se
